GoTo : Introduction to Visual Basic This is a complete free course in VB programming. The required equipment and materials are: 1) A Windows-compatable PC 2) Windows 95 or 98 installed 3) Microsoft Visual Basic 5 or 6 installed. The assignments deal with VB version 5. Version 6 was released in late 1998, but there are no significant problems using either version for this course.
GoTo : Introduction to Visual Basic 5.0 Programming This tutorial site is a resource for Napier University, but is a great reference for anyone needing VB tutorials. Created by Simon Wilkinson, BA, MSc, it also has lots of other useful resources besides the tutorials - well worth visiting.
GoTo : VB Helper Tutorials The tutorial links here are really much more aimed at specific tasks rather than a beginning to end overview of Visual Basic, but are very useful nonetheless, and much more suited to programmers with an existing knowledge of Visual Basic.
GoTo : Gary Beene's VB Tutorial This tutorial is still in progress, but still worth the visit. You'll find some interesting and useful information here if you're new to Visual Basic, but there are also several other useful links for more experienced programmers.
